DIY Blocks

My all time favorite store is Porter's; you can always discover something new in this amazing store. They sell cute wood blocks and I've seen online different blocks people have made and noticed its very simple to make.

Items you need:
  • wood block (any size you'd like)
  • craft paint
  • scrapbooking paper
  • letters (you could also use vinyl lettering)
  • hot glue gun
  • glue stick
  • sandpaper
Directions: First you want to paint your wood block. Second once your wood blocks are dry, I sanded the egdes of the block to give a cute distressed look. Third, you need to cut your scrapbooking paper; not the exact dimensions of the block faces, but a tab smaller. Once you cut the square scrapbooking paper for all the faces of the block ex-cluding the bottom face, you're going to glue stick the square scrapbooking paper to the blocks faces. Next, you use the hot glue gun to glue the letter to the blocks. Finally, you get to display these blocks any way you'd love.
