Late night fun..

I made this 4X6 album awhile back, but I remember the night I made it quite well. One night I was extremely bored and had no money to go out and watch a movie or grab a bite, so I looked in my closet full of goodies and came up with a pleasant idea. I grabbed an old album that I used in school to put recipes in and threw the recipes away since I never used them. I grabbed some scrapbooking paper leftovers that I've used for previous projects and mix and match, then turned out to a lovely original album cover.

Items you need:
  • 4X6 album (got mine @ walmart for like $2)
  • Scrapbooking paper
  • glue stick
  • Stickers
Directions: First, you want get an album that allows you to take out the cover it came with when you bought it. Then you're going to take the old album cover out and use it as a measure guide to cut the scrapbooking paper the proper size. Now this is where you make it your own; you mix and match how you want, use some glue stick, and stickers. After your done decorating your cover just slip it back in the album and you have your own original album cover. (: Enjoyy

DIY Blocks

My all time favorite store is Porter's; you can always discover something new in this amazing store. They sell cute wood blocks and I've seen online different blocks people have made and noticed its very simple to make.

Items you need:
  • wood block (any size you'd like)
  • craft paint
  • scrapbooking paper
  • letters (you could also use vinyl lettering)
  • hot glue gun
  • glue stick
  • sandpaper
Directions: First you want to paint your wood block. Second once your wood blocks are dry, I sanded the egdes of the block to give a cute distressed look. Third, you need to cut your scrapbooking paper; not the exact dimensions of the block faces, but a tab smaller. Once you cut the square scrapbooking paper for all the faces of the block ex-cluding the bottom face, you're going to glue stick the square scrapbooking paper to the blocks faces. Next, you use the hot glue gun to glue the letter to the blocks. Finally, you get to display these blocks any way you'd love.

FUTURE Plans..

So, I have thought out what I am going to do about college.

{Before I enter into Boise State, I am going to attend EITC which is real
close by. It takes two years to complete to become a Legal Assistant. Once I
get this done, I will get a higher pay instead of minimum wage and
will find a place in Boise, then I'll be able to afford more.}
I'd love to attend Boise State, but this just isn't
in my budget. I'd love to get my criminal justice
degree here, but I dont plan going there for another
2-3 years. Meanwhile, I am going to attend another school
This school seems to have great programs theres;
certified nurse, dental assistant, other great programs also,
but what I want to do is be a {Legal Assistant} I love learning
about law, being organized, doing paper work, and staying busy.

{Simple} Wallet Size Photo Flash Cards Project

I recently did a project for school and I printed out a whole bunch of wallet size photos to put on my poster project, but ends up I didn't use much of them. So, then I came up with an idea, instead of just keeping these gorgeous photos of my son locked up and not being seen; I found a way that I will show them off in a cute simple project.

Items You Need:
  • wallet size photos
  • badges
  • scrapbooking paper
  • stickers
  • scissors
  • ring holder
  • ribbon

Directions: I made a cover badge with some scrapbooking paper, stickers, and I wrote my sons info. With the photos I just inserted them into the badges and they fit perfectly inside. With these clear badges; the photo are protected from getting dirty and not easily bent. In between some of the photos I just put some other scrapbook covers instead of a photo just to divide the photos by son's age.

Our {New} Home!

I am ubberly excited about my 'lil family {Michael, Isaiah, And I} and I being accepted to move into a beautiful townhome close by my mother's home. With this new place I have so many plans since it is much bigger than our last place which was only a 2 bedroom apartment, but now we have a 3 bedroom townhome. Since we have an extra room I'd love to use as a work room for me; for all my crafts, projects, and school work. I also want to remodel my son Isaiah's room since he isn't a baby anymore; he's a soon to be 2 year old. I already have some projects in mind to make my living room much more my style instead of just plain boring decor. Can't wait to share..

One of these is our new home. (:

{New} Blogger, {1st} Post.

For about a year, I've looked at different blogs that creative mommies do. How do you all find the time to do your projects and share them by bloggin? Seriously, I want to know haa, well I am going to do some projects that I have planned and will surely share, when I find some time. (:

Haha this will be somewhat it'll be for my next few months, I Can't Wait!
